The school is located on a mound which is surrounded by symmetrical and asymmetrical fold mountains of the Western Ghats (Sahyadri). The land form is associated with second order endogenous processes, i.e. mountains and plateaus. The place has a large undulating surface area on its top it has flat or undulating surface. It sides are marked by steep and gentle slopes which is surrounded by high mountains. The land forms of the place are layered with stand stones, shale and lime stones. The slope of the topography is towards east. Small streams and rivulets are found in this area. The place is formed due to lava eruption from the interior of the Earth covering an extensive land surface called as the plateau of accumulation.

The place is cool though it lies on the leeward side of the Western Ghats and it receives moderate rainfall in the monsoon season. The hard crust and uneven terrain doesn’t permit the use of canals and wells of irrigation, but it has a rain harvesting unit to ensure the irrigation and domestic water supplies. orchid_locaPodsols, tropical black soil and a couple of other types of soils primarily originating in the volcanic activities are found in the neighborhood. The soil becomes sticky when it is wet but it develops crack when it is dried up. The local population of Anjaneri has three different communities i.e. Hindu, Marathas, Mahadev Kohli and Jai Bhim Buddhists. People are engaged in the occupation of agriculture. The major crops cultivated in the farms are Paddy, Vegetables like tomato, cauliflower, cabbage, green chilly, bitter gourd, pumpkins, green leafy vegetables and some fodder crops
